A Warm Welcome: Our First ABCFM Open House in Northwest Arkansas

Last week marked a beautiful milestone for Arkansas Baptist Children & Family Ministries: we hosted our very first Friendraising Open House at our Family Care home in Northwest Arkansas!

More than 20 guests gathered to experience the heart of ABCFM firsthand. Local staff from each of our ministry divisions were present, offering insight into how we serve children and families across the state through Christ-centered services. One of our dedicated board members also joined us, warmly welcoming guests and sharing in the mission.

These Open House events are designed with simplicity and sincerity—they are no-ask gatherings meant to invite new friends into our story. Attendees had the chance to tour the Family Care home, hear powerful stories of transformation, and learn how God is moving through ministries like foster care, Christian adoption, faith-based counseling, and family support.
