Sharing the Mission at the Zoo

Thank you to the ABSC Missions Team for Family Zoo Day

In May, families from across Arkansas gathered at the Little Rock Zoo — not only to explore and enjoy a day together, but to discover real ways they can live on mission. We’re so grateful to the Missions Team at the Arkansas Baptist State Convention for inviting ABCFM to be part of the day!

Our team set up a booth and had the opportunity to speak with dozens of families and church leaders about the mission field of foster care. We handed out Get Involved resources, answered questions, and connected with people who are passionate about serving vulnerable children.

One comment we heard more than once:
“This is exactly the kind of mission project I’ve been looking for.”

That’s the heart of it. At ABCFM, we believe the church is uniquely called and equipped to care for children and families in crisis. Events like this help make vital connections — between calling and opportunity, between awareness and action.

To the ABSC Missions Team: thank you for hosting such a meaningful event and for continuing to create pathways for Arkansas Baptists to serve. We're honored to be in this mission with you.
